On December 24, 2024, with the opening of the Holy Door of St. Peter's Basilica, the Holy Year officially began.
The municipal administration of San Giovanni Rotondo, the city of San Pio, the Archdiocese of Manfredonia-Vieste-San Giovanni Rotondo, and the friars of the Convent Santuario Padre Pio da Pietrelcina have organized a special program for this extraordinary event.
The chosen theme is “Peace | Human Rights | Food | Poverty".
