Paolo Sassanelli in “Story of a Storyteller”, the tribute to Matteo Salvatore, this evening, Sunday 25 August
This evening, Sunday 25 August, at 21pm, in the evocative setting of Mattias Square, the theatrical-musical show will take place, directed by the actor and director Paolo Sassanelli, “Storia di un Cantastorie”, the homage to Matteo Salvatore, singer-songwriter and interpreter of traditional songs from the Gargano.
The show between music and words, with Rione Junno, tells the artist's troubled existence: a life halfway between the shadow of torment and the light of his art, between the fragility of man and the power of his poetry.
Paolo Sassanelli, theatre, television and cinema actor, director and screenwriter, has become famous and indelible for his performances in TV series and films such as "A doctor in the family","Classmates","Lacapagira".
