James Senese, an innovative artist and a key figure in the “Neapolitan Power” cultural movement, will be the star of a free concert in San Giovanni Rotondo. With over fifty years of career, Senese has brought his unique and unmistakable sound to the stages of theaters, festivals and clubs throughout Italy.
His sax tells stories of pain, strength, struggle and love, tackling universal themes with intensity and passion. He recently celebrated the 40th anniversary of his first solo album, continuing to inspire generations of musicians with his uncompromising artistic vision.
«We are entering the week closest to Christmas and we are doing it with a great artist», declared the mayor of San Giovanni Rotondo, Philip Barbano. "The rich program of Christmas events offers many novelties, from the quality of the musical choices to the enhancement of the historic center. Next weekend the Santa Claus Village in the Borgo Antico will still be open, to enhance the beating heart of our city"he concluded.
